OPA Building

The OPA building is in downtown Delaware, Ohio and dates back to 1880. This building was a disaster when the construction started.  It took about a year to transform it into a bar and restaurant on the first two floors, and the third floor was turned into three apartments.  Seeing the original ceiling that had been hidden for years, and seeing the hardwood floors restored was like  watching an old building coming back to life.  It was an abandoned property that is now completely repurposed.  There was even a dumbwaiter in the building that is now on display. I followed this transformation for over a year and went there on a regular basis to document the changes.
